Willson Contreras Returns From IL, Logs Two Hits in Red Sox Win

Willson Contreras made a successful return from the injured list on Sunday, starting at first base for the Boston Red Sox in a 4-1 victory over the Kansas City Royals. Contreras went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored, demonstrating full recovery from his hamstring injury by advancing to second on a fourth-inning error. Boston activated the veteran catcher/infielder after determining he was ready for full action.
