Deonte Banks Validates Starting Role with Strong Display Against Cowboys

New York Giants cornerback Deonte Banks validated his summer resurgence by recording four tackles and two passes defended in Sunday's 28-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Earning the starting cornerback spot over Paulson Adebo, Banks displayed high energy and run-support effort. Although he gave up a one-yard touchdown catch to CeeDee Lamb and dealt with second-half cramping, Banks broke up a crucial late pass to prevent a Dallas scoring drive and handled kickoff return duties.
