MarShawn Lloyd Leads Packers Carries Amid Ground Struggles in Opener Loss

Green Bay Packers running back MarShawn Lloyd paced the team's backfield carries in a 39-22 Week 1 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Operating on 30 offensive snaps with starter Josh Jacobs absent, Lloyd rushed 13 times for 37 yards—including a 12-yard run to open the second half—but went uncaught on his lone target. He ceded playing time to Chris Brooks (37 snaps) for pass protection, making for an ineffective debut despite leading the team in rushing attempts.
