Braeden Cootes Scores Goal as Canucks Top Kraken 5-2 in Showcase

Braeden Cootes tapped in Vancouver's fourth goal following a smooth pass from linemate Brooks Rogowski during the Canucks' 5–2 win over the Seattle Kraken to wrap up the 2026 Prospects Showcase. Playing on a newly formed line alongside Rogowski and Adam Novotný, Cootes helped the trio score three of Vancouver's five goals, with every member registering at least one point. The Canucks prospects now turn their attention to building momentum at training camp starting September 17.
