Stefon Diggs Scores TD but Costly Penalty Hurts Commanders in Debut

Washington Commanders wide receiver Stefon Diggs caught four of nine targets for 55 yards and a 10-yard touchdown from Jayden Daniels in a 24-22 loss to Philadelphia. Diggs led the team in targets but drew a crucial 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for hugging the goalpost during his celebration. The penalty backed up Washington for the extra point attempt instead of a potential game-tying two-point try, for which Diggs took full responsibility.
