Najee Harris Named Healthy Scratch for Giants Season Opener

New York Giants running back Najee Harris was ruled a healthy scratch and listed among the team's inactives for Sunday night's Week 1 game against the Dallas Cowboys. Harris, who signed with New York on August 18 after recovering from last season's torn Achilles tendon, was held out as the Giants elected to suit up Cam Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy, and Devin Singletary in their active backfield rotation.
