Justin Martinez Highlighted Among Pitchers With Recent Immaculate Innings

Arizona Diamondbacks reliever Justin Martinez threw an immaculate inning on Friday, joining a short list of MLB pitchers to accomplish the feat during the 2026 season. Martinez's nine-pitch, three-strikeout frame was highlighted following Boston Red Sox starter Payton Tolle's immaculate inning on Sunday. Martinez is one of five pitchers to toss an immaculate inning this year, alongside Tolle, Michael Soroka, Gavin Williams, and Taj Bradley.
