Trey Yesavage Scheduled for Triple-A Rehab Outing on Wednesday

Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Trey Yesavage (knee) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Wednesday with Triple-A Buffalo after clearing bullpen sessions on Thursday and Sunday. Yesavage has been sidelined since early August following surgery to repair a torn meniscus. If his rehab outing goes smoothly, manager John Schneider indicated Yesavage could rejoin Toronto's starting rotation for a September 21 series opener in Baltimore.
