Zac Gallen Shifted to Diamondbacks Bullpen After Injury Return

Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo announced Sunday that right-hander Zac Gallen will work out of the bullpen moving forward. Gallen recently returned from a two-month IL stint due to an elbow injury, allowing two runs over 3.1 innings in his return Wednesday against Kansas City. The move caps a difficult season for Gallen, who has struggled to a career-worst 6.22 ERA, 1.57 WHIP, and 62:33 K:BB ratio across 101.1 innings pitched.
