Alec Pierce Leads Colts Catchers Despite Hand Injury

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce caught four of six targets for a team-leading 61 yards in Sunday's 41-23 loss to the Ravens. Despite being limited to a pre-planned snap count due to prior ankle and heel injuries, Pierce played through a left hand contusion after X-rays on his wrist came back negative. He wore a soft brace postgame but expects to expand his workload in Week 2 against Kansas City.
