Kahlil Benson to Make First NFL Start at Left Tackle for Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs undrafted rookie Kahlil Benson is set to make his NFL debut and first career start at left tackle in Monday night's opener against the Denver Broncos. Benson, a former Colorado right guard and Indiana tackle, steps in as Patrick Mahomes' blindside protector with starter Josh Simmons ruled out due to injury. Benson will face a stern test against Denver's pass rush, including All-Pro edge rusher Nik Bonitto.
