Joc Pederson Seeking Specialist Evaluation for Hand Injury

Texas Rangers designated hitter Joc Pederson is scheduled to see a hand specialist after being hit by a pitch during Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks. While initial X-rays came back negative, Pederson faces a strong possibility of landing on the 10-day injured list. Texas recalled outfielder Alejandro Osuna from AAA Round Rock on Sunday to provide a left-handed bat off the bench and cover at designated hitter while Pederson is sidelined.
