Alex Bregman Powers Chicago Cubs Offense with 25th Home Run in Blowout Win

Alex Bregman continued his impressive second-half turnaround by going 3-for-4 with his 25th home run and 30th double in the Chicago Cubs' 12-2 rout of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Bregman's performance helped snap Chicago's four-game losing streak. After a slow start to the 2026 season, the veteran third baseman has stayed hot following a strong August, proving to be a critical centerpiece for the Cubs offense as they push toward the postseason.
