Luke Haymes Scores in Prospect Loss, Eyes Maple Leafs Roster Spot

Luke Haymes scored a goal to tie the game 2-2 in the Toronto Maple Leafs' 4-3 overtime prospect game loss to the Ottawa Senators. The 23-year-old center was deployed in all situations by coach Steve Sullivan, who praised his 200-foot game across the power play and penalty kill. After making his NHL debut and recording one assist in four games last season, Haymes is focused on earning a full-time roster spot with Toronto out of training camp.
