Jayden Daniels Takes Blame for Failed Comeback and Penalty in Week 1

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels completed 18 of 34 passes for 164 yards and two late fourth-quarter touchdowns while rushing for 31 yards in a 24-22 loss to Philadelphia. Daniels took responsibility for a costly celebration penalty by Stefon Diggs that forced an extra point over a two-point attempt, and he later stood by the play-call on a failed late two-point shovel pass with 1:01 remaining.
