James Wood Swipes Two Bases in Nationals' Extra-Inning Win

James Wood went 1-for-4 with a walk, a run scored, and two stolen bases in Saturday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Angels. The steals were his 20th and 21st of the year; alongside CJ Abrams, they form the 11th teammate duo in MLB history with 30-20 seasons. Since returning from an oblique strain in September, Wood is 9-for-33 (.273) with four steals, though he remains stuck on 30 home runs, seeking his first deep drive since July 26.
