Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer signed a three-year, $45 million extension with $30 million guaranteed ($22.5 million fully guaranteed), keeping him under contract through 2029. The $15 million annual average ranks among the top five tight end contracts in the NFL. With Brock Bowers recovering from knee surgery, Mayer takes over as the primary starting tight end for Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins.
