Eric Lauer Transferred to 60-Day IL, Ending 2026 Season

The Los Angeles Dodgers transferred left-hander Eric Lauer to the 60-day injured list to clear 40-man roster space for prospect Josue De Paula. On the 15-day IL since September 2 with left elbow inflammation, Lauer is now ineligible for postseason play, officially ending his 2026 campaign. Acquired from Toronto in May, Lauer posted a 4.50 ERA in 72 innings with Los Angeles and finished the year with a combined 5.23 ERA across 22 total pitching appearances.
