Mason Miller Escapes Loaded Bases Jam to Secure 35th Save of Season

Mason Miller survived a rocky ninth inning, walking two and giving up a hit before striking out two in a scoreless frame to earn his 35th save in San Diego's 7-5 win over San Francisco. Despite loading the bases, Miller preserved the victory and lowered his season ERA to 1.16 alongside a 0.87 WHIP and 115:23 K:BB across 62.1 innings. However, he has shown rare vulnerability lately, surrendering four runs over his last eight appearances.
