George Kirby Struggles Again After Surrendering Four Runs Against Athletics

George Kirby allowed four runs on nine hits and two walks over six innings in a no-decision against the Athletics. The right-hander has yielded 25 runs (24 earned) over his last 33.1 innings, surrendering at least four runs in five of his past six starts. Overall, Kirby holds a 4.25 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 138:39 K:BB through 165.1 innings across 28 starts. Controlling opposing base runners also remains a notable point of concern for him as the season winds down.
