Byron Buxton to Undergo Season-Ending Hip Surgery

Byron Buxton will miss the remainder of the season after opting for arthroscopic surgery on his right hip, scheduled for September 18. The outfielder has been on the injured list since August 30. This procedure aims to address the persistent hip issue that has kept him out of action for the final stretch of the year.
