Dylan Larkin Stripped of Captaincy Following Trade Request

Dylan Larkin will report to the Detroit Red Wings' training camp next week despite requesting a trade earlier this offseason. The organization officially announced Friday that Larkin will no longer serve as team captain, a role he held for the past six seasons. The team will enter the new campaign without a captain as they navigate this leadership transition. Decisions regarding Larkin's future remain pending as the franchise adjusts its hockey operations following Yzerman's departure.
