James Cook Poised for Week 1 Impact Against Texans

Bills running back James Cook is set for a major role in Buffalo's season opener against Houston, with potential to climb the franchise's all-time lists. His workload may increase further if teammate Ty Johnson (hamstring) is unable to play, as Johnson is currently listed as questionable after a limited Friday practice. Cook's performance in passing-down situations will be critical, especially if he absorbs the target share typically allocated to the injured Johnson.
