Cam Smith's Ninth-Inning Blast Secures Astros Win

Cam Smith delivered the decisive blow in Thursday's 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies, hitting a home run in the ninth inning to break the tie. His late-game heroics provided the necessary offense to support a strong pitching performance from Cristian Javier, who held the Phillies to just three hits over the course of the game. Smith's clutch hitting was the difference-maker in a tight, low-scoring rubber match at the ballpark.
