Kevin Fiala Undergoes Follow-Up Surgery, Misses Start of Training Camp

Los Angeles Kings forward Kevin Fiala will miss the start of training camp after undergoing follow-up surgery for a broken leg sustained during the Milan Cortina Olympics. Fiala, who was injured playing for Switzerland on February 13, previously missed the second half of the NHL season and the playoffs. The team confirmed the setback on Thursday, leaving his availability for the early portion of the upcoming season uncertain. Fiala recorded 18 goals and 22 assists in 56 games last season.
