Status for Week 1 Uncertain; Progress Needed Over Next Two Days

Arizona Cardinals right guard Isaiah Adams is at risk of missing the team's season opener. Adams needs to show significant physical progress over the next two days to be cleared for play. If he is unable to go, the team is prepared to start Jon Gaines II in his place. The Cardinals' coaching staff is monitoring his recovery closely, as his availability will determine the final configuration of the offensive line heading into their first game of the 2026 season.
