Top Prospect Leo De Vries Out Indefinitely With Shoulder Injury

The Athletics have announced that top infield prospect Leo De Vries is out indefinitely due to a shoulder injury. Further reports confirm he has a torn labrum and is scheduled for shoulder surgery this weekend, which will keep him off the field until at least mid-May. This news comes as part of a broader update regarding the organization's minor league depth, which also saw pitcher Jamie Arnold sidelined. The team has not provided a specific timeline for his return to play.
