Prospect Jamie Arnold Out Indefinitely With Facial Fractures

Athletics prospect Jamie Arnold is out indefinitely after being struck by a line drive during a Triple-A Las Vegas start on Tuesday. He has been diagnosed with multiple fractures on the left side of his face and a corneal abrasion. While his mother confirmed he escaped more serious injury, the severity of the facial trauma necessitates an indefinite recovery period. The Athletics organization is currently managing his absence alongside other prospect injuries.
