Anaheim Ducks Terminate Chris Kreider's Contract via Unconditional Waivers

The Anaheim Ducks have placed 35-year-old veteran forward Chris Kreider on unconditional waivers to terminate his contract. This decision follows Kreider's request for a move to an East Coast team and serves as a salary cap-saving measure for the organization. A 14-year NHL veteran, Kreider was entering the final year of his deal after completing his first season in Anaheim. The Buffalo Sabres are currently being speculated as a potential landing spot for the winger following his release.
