Andrew Painter Takes Loss as Phillies Fall to Astros

Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Andrew Painter (3-8, 5.55 ERA) started Tuesday's series opener against the Houston Astros at Citizens Bank Park. It was a rough night for the young pitcher and the Phillies' offense, as the team fell 6-5. The Astros' victory was powered by three home runs, which proved too much for the Phillies to overcome in the first game of the three-game set.
