Aaron Donald Ruled Out for Rams' Season Opener Against 49ers in Australia

Defensive tackle Aaron Donald has been officially ruled out for the Rams' 2026 season opener against the 49ers in Melbourne, Australia. Despite a high-profile comeback from a two-year retirement, the organization will wait at least one more week for his return. 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan expressed relief, stating he was "preparing for the worst" and is "glad we don't have to see him this week." Donald will not travel with the team as they prepare to play without their defensive anchor.
