Zac Thornton Struggles in Loss to Giants

Zac Thornton took the mound in Saturday's 9-5 loss to the San Francisco Giants, struggling in an outing where the pitching staff surrendered six home runs. Despite the poor performance, interim manager Andy Green noted there were still "encouraging trends" in the rookie's development. The team continues to evaluate the young pitcher as they look to rebound from the series loss.
