Fernando Cruz Avoids Tommy John Surgery; Return This Season Possible

Fernando Cruz and his club received encouraging news as the pitcher will avoid Tommy John surgery for the time being. This development keeps the door open for Cruz to potentially return to the mound later this season, providing a significant boost to the pitching depth. While he is not yet fully cleared for game action, the decision to bypass surgery for now allows for a conservative rehabilitation process with the goal of getting him back into the bullpen before the current campaign concludes.
