Aaron Judge Takes Batting Practice; Potential Return Next Week

Aaron Judge reached a significant milestone in his recovery from a rib injury by taking on-field batting practice Friday for the first time since late May. While he has not yet faced live pitching, manager Aaron Boone indicated that Judge could do so as early as Monday. If his progress continues, the Yankees captain may be activated during the upcoming six-game homestand, which features a high-profile series against the New York Mets starting next week.
