49ers Sign Khalid Kareem to Active Roster

The San Francisco 49ers have signed defensive end Khalid Kareem to their active roster. Kareem, a former 5th-round pick, was poached from the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad to provide immediate depth for the 49ers' defensive line ahead of their season opener in Australia. The move comes as the team addresses roster needs following the injury status of Sam Okuayinonu.
