Steven Okert Placed on 15-Day IL with Hamstring Strain

The Houston Astros have placed LHP Steven Okert on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to September 1, due to a right hamstring strain. Okert has been one of the team’s most durable and consistent relievers this season. In a corresponding move to address the pitching staff vacancy, the Astros have recalled LHP Bryan King from Triple-A Sugar Land.
