Ty Simpson Named QB3 on Rams Initial Depth Chart

The No. 13 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Ty Simpson, has been slotted as the No. 3 quarterback on the Los Angeles Rams' initial depth chart. The rookie currently sits behind veteran Stetson Bennett, who has secured the primary backup role. This early-season designation indicates that Simpson requires further development within the Rams' offensive system before challenging for a higher position in the rotation behind starter Matthew Stafford.
