Yoshinobu Yamamoto Strikes Out Eight in No-Decision Against Cardinals

Yoshinobu Yamamoto delivered a strong outing against the Cardinals on Wednesday, striking out eight batters over seven innings while allowing four runs on five hits and two walks. Despite flirting with a no-hitter early, he ultimately received a no-decision as the Dodgers fell in extra innings. Yamamoto, who gave up a pair of two-run homers in the loss, was tasked with providing stability to the rotation following recent team pitching struggles.
