Garrett Crochet Slated for Weekend Bullpen Session in Injury Return

Boston Red Sox pitcher Garrett Crochet is making progress in his recovery from lat and shoulder issues. Interim manager Chad Tracy announced on Wednesday that Crochet is likely to throw a bullpen session this coming weekend. This mound work represents a significant step in his rehabilitation process. The left-hander's return would provide a boost to the Red Sox pitching staff, though the team will wait to see how he responds to the session before determining the next steps in his return.
