Cade Klubnik Named Jets' Primary Backup Quarterback

The New York Jets have officially named rookie Cade Klubnik as their backup quarterback, bypassing veteran options. Head coach Aaron Glenn has expressed confidence in Klubnik's ability to handle the role, and the team has confirmed they will not pursue further quarterback additions. Despite an uneven preseason performance, the organization remains committed to Klubnik as the primary backup to Geno Smith for the upcoming 2026 season.
