Jets Claim Blake Grupe Off Waivers to Compete for Kicking Job

The New York Jets have claimed kicker Blake Grupe off waivers to compete for the starting role. This move follows the release of Jason Sanders, who struggled with missed kicks in the final preseason game. Grupe now has a clear path to the starting job as the team looks to stabilize their kicking situation. Despite the initial roster shuffle, the team remains focused on evaluating their options for the upcoming season.
