Orioles Claim Luis Robert Jr. Off Waivers from Mets

The Baltimore Orioles have claimed veteran outfielder Luis Robert Jr. off waivers from the New York Mets. The move, confirmed Monday, is part of a late-season push as the Orioles contend for an American League Wild Card berth. Robert, a former Gold Glove winner who spent significant time on the injured list during his tenure in Queens, is expected to integrate into the Baltimore roster immediately to provide depth for the final stretch of the season.
