Juan Soto Returns From IL to Spark Mets Offense in 6-2 Win
Juan Soto was activated from the 10-day injured list following a left calf strain and immediately impacted the Mets' 6-2 victory over the Astros. Serving as the designated hitter, Soto went 1-for-4 with a go-ahead RBI single. Despite fouling a ball off his right leg during the game, he remained in the lineup. His return, which came ahead of schedule, helped the Mets snap a three-game losing streak. To make room on the roster, the team optioned Eric Wagaman to Triple-A.
