Nolan McLean Dominates Astros in Seven-Inning Victory

Rookie RHP Nolan McLean (10-8) led the Mets to a 6-2 win over the Astros, allowing just one unearned run on two hits and three walks with four strikeouts across seven innings. The performance snapped the team's losing streak and lowered his season ERA to 3.21. While McLean has recorded higher strikeout totals in other outings this year, his ability to provide length and stability was the primary factor in this victory, proving his value to the rotation despite a less flashy stat line.
