Jalon Daniels Struggles in Preseason Finale

Rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels received an extended opportunity to compete for a roster spot during Friday's 19-0 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but the offensive performance was disappointing. Daniels was unable to capitalize on the increased playing time to solidify his standing. Additionally, he remains on the roster while teammate Connor Bazelak has been cut, as Daniels appears to have moved ahead on the team's depth chart.
