Tarik Skubal Shines in Emotional Return to Detroit

Tarik Skubal delivered a strong performance in his return to Detroit, working six innings of one-run ball with seven strikeouts in a 2-1 Dodgers loss. Pitching against the team that drafted him, Skubal was noted for his effectiveness on the mound despite receiving limited run support. The outing was an emotional milestone for the left-hander, who was traded to Los Angeles earlier this season.
