Bucs GM Optimistic About Retaining Baker Mayfield

Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht expressed that he is "very optimistic" about quarterback Baker Mayfield remaining with the team beyond the 2026 season. This comes despite previous friction, with Mayfield having stated earlier that he felt "disrespected" by the Buccaneers' initial contract offers. The front office remains focused on securing the veteran quarterback's future in Tampa.
