Christian Scott Struggles in 3-1 Loss to Astros

Mets RHP Christian Scott (4-3, 3.73 ERA) took the loss in Friday's 3-1 defeat to the Houston Astros. Scott struggled in the sixth inning, issuing three consecutive walks that proved to be his undoing. Following the game, Scott and manager Andy Green discussed the outing as a 'learning experience' after he lost the strike zone. Despite a competitive start at Citi Field, he could not overcome the Astros' lineup, dropping the Mets to 60-74 on the season.
