Spencer Schwellenbach to Undergo Season-Ending Elbow Surgery

Spencer Schwellenbach is set for season-ending surgery to repair a fracture in his right elbow. The injury occurred following a setback in his rehabilitation from a pre-season elbow procedure. This news, reported by Mark Bowman, coincides with the announcement that teammate Hurston Waldrep will also undergo season-ending surgery, leaving the Atlanta Braves with a significant void in their pitching rotation for the remainder of the 2026 season.
