Hurston Waldrep Out for Season Following Tommy John Surgery

Hurston Waldrep will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery on his right elbow. The procedure follows a setback in his rehabilitation from a pre-season elbow issue. This development serves as a significant blow to the Atlanta Braves' pitching depth, as the team also confirmed that teammate Spencer Schwellenbach will undergo season-ending surgery for a fractured elbow, further depleting the rotation options for the remainder of the year.
